Accessibility
Built to be used by everyone
We serve people of every age and ability, so this website is designed to be easy to see, read and use, however you browse.
Our commitment
MSIS Inc. is committed to making UnitedStates65.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we've built in
- Adjustable text size. Use the A / A / A buttons at the top of every page to make the text larger. Your choice is remembered on your next visit.
- High contrast. Choose High contrast at the top of any page for black text on a white background, solid outlines and underlined links. If your device is set to increase contrast, the site starts that way. Your choice is remembered on your next visit.
- Large, readable type and strong contrast. Text is generously sized, and colors are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios.
- Full keyboard support. Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with the keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are. A "Skip to main content" link appears when you start tabbing.
- Screen-reader friendly. Pages use proper headings and landmarks, form fields have clear labels, and form errors are announced.
- Respects your settings. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are minimized, and the site reflows cleanly when zoomed and on phones and tablets.
